The second child of five daughters born to Edith R. Smith and the late Edward Smith, Co-Pastor Shereé is a licensed and ordained preacher of the Gospel.  In addition, she is a conference speaker, recording artist, wife, and mother. 

Co-Pastor Shereé S. Sykes is married to Bishop Terence M. Sykes, founder and pastor of Shekijah Preparation Assembly located in Lynchburg, VA where they currently reside.

God has graced her with a powerful ministry of deliverance, prayer, and wisdom. Her ministry gifts in preaching and music have allowed her to travel extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Japan, Italy, Great Britain, and South Africa. Her unique presentation of truth has caused many to be delivered and made free by the power of an Awesome God.

Evangelist Sykes is the Co-Pastor and Co-founder of Shekijah, as well as a valuable asset to the growth and maturity of the church. She is a virtuous woman and is, in word and deed, blessed!

Co-Pastor Sykes holds an A.A.S. degree in Business from Ferrum College.  She has also furthered her study of the Gospel at Virginia University of Lynchburg, Central Virginia Theological Center, Christian Leadership University and New Life Community School of Ministry and Bible Institute.  Her God-given gifts and abilities caused her to found Shekijah Outreach Services (SOS) a non-profit corporation dedicated to meeting a variety of community needs.  She is also the founder of S.P.A. Ladies, a mentoring program for young ladies from age 15 to 25.
